Verified in person, not online
Every badge is issued on a real check-in at a StartUPulse event in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, or Peshawar. No self-reported claims, no bots just founders who showed up in the room.
StartUPulse is a community for Pakistan's founders, builders, and startup ecosystem. Discover the people, startups, and events shaping what comes next.

StartUPulse
A startup directory built on self-reported profiles is easy to fake and impossible to trust. StartUPulse is different. Our verified badge is earned in person: when a founder checks in at one of our offline events across Pakistan, that physical attendance becomes a trust signal investors, sponsors, and cofounders can actually rely on.
Every badge is issued on a real check-in at a StartUPulse event in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, or Peshawar. No self-reported claims, no bots just founders who showed up in the room.
Verified attendance ranks founders in the directory and powers our matchmaking engine. Investors filter for founders they know are real, turning a scattered scene into a credible, searchable network.
Because it is earned offline, verified attendance cannot be faked or copied. Across 28+ events in 4+ cities, it compiles into a proprietary map of Pakistan's real startup ecosystem.
We collaborate with partners who help us deliver impactful experiences for founders and leaders across Pakistan.

Events create a spike of activity, then silence. StartUPulse holds the attention in between turning a room full of founders into a directory, a network, and a pipeline that keeps working after everyone goes home.

Everything you need to know about how StartUPulse works.
StartUPulse is a founder community that has run 28 events across 4 cities. The platform is what happens between those events. You get a public startup directory, weekly cofounder and peer introductions, and a verification system anchored to who actually shows up. Create a profile in a few minutes, get verified, and the connections you make in a room stop dying in a WhatsApp thread.
Any founder, at any stage. You do not need a registered company, a product, revenue, or funding. If you are two people deciding whether to build something together, you belong here. Investors join by application and are approved manually.
No. Sign up, verify your domain, and you are fully in the directory and eligible for matchmaking without ever attending. Events get you the attendance badge, which other founders weigh more heavily than anything else on the platform. It is an upgrade, not a gate.
Joining is free, and it will not change. The directory, verification, and matchmaking cost nothing. Some events are ticketed to cover venue and catering. Everything on the platform stays free regardless of whether you buy a ticket. This community was built on people giving their time to it, and charging founders for access to each other would undo the reason it works. The platform makes money through event tickets, event sponsorships, and the investor layer.
You get three curated introductions a week, by email. Not a swipe feed. Before anything is scored, pairs are filtered out for mismatched commitment levels or skills that are not genuinely reciprocal. What survives is scored on complementary strengths, overlapping skills needs, shared vertical, shared events attended, city, and stage. Only matches above a quality threshold get sent. Every match comes with the reason. Something like: they lead engineering while you lead sales, you have both attended two StartUPulse events, and you are both in Lahore. Introductions are double opt in. You request, they see your profile and note, and only when both say yes does anyone get contact details. If they do not respond it expires quietly after 14 days. Nobody gets cold messaged, and nobody gets rejected.
Verification proves two separate things. First, that you are a real person, which happens automatically when you sign in with LinkedIn. Second, that you actually run the startup you listed, which you prove by controlling the company's domain, either through a work email at that domain or a DNS record. Takes about five minutes and no human reviews it. No incorporation papers required. Half of this community is pre-registration, and asking for documents would filter out exactly the founders who most need a cofounder. It matters because verified profiles rank above unverified ones, are the only ones eligible for matchmaking, and are the only ones visible to investors. The event attendance badge carries the most weight of all, because it cannot be bought. You only get it by showing up.
We pre-populated the directory from our own event attendee lists so it would not launch empty. If your company appeared at a StartUPulse event, it may already be there. Claim it and you take ownership: correct the details, add what only you know, and get verified. Nothing on an unclaimed profile came from anywhere except our own records.
Yes. Your startup name, one-liner, city, vertical, stage, and website are public and indexed by search engines. That is the point, it is how people find you. Everything else is gated behind login: your contact details, whether you are looking for a cofounder, whether you are fundraising, and how much you have raised. You can set your founder profile to private, opt out of introductions entirely, export your data, or delete your account at any time.
Investors apply and are approved manually. There is no self-serve access, and there will not be. Approved investors browse verified startups with fundraising status visible.
Join 500+ founders who trust StartUPulse for genuine connections, verified profiles, and a community that keeps working long after the event ends.
